Warehouse Manager – Newry
c. £40,000 + generous package
We are working with a leading supplier & distributor of products into the construction and homeware markets to recruit for their new Warehouse Manager to join the on a permanent basis at their impressive Newry facility.
Reporting to the Operations Director and leading a team of c40 you will lead the day-to-day warehousing operations, from receipt, storage and dispatch, this will include;
- Leading warehousing staff & supervisors across the site
- Daily operation of the Warehouse facility
- Managing processes to ensure the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the warehouse to the point of delivery
- Maintaining focus on right first time to ensure your branch remains efficient while providing the highest level of customer service to all your customers
- Driving improvements and efficiencies
- Other adhoc duties
What we are looking for…
- +3 years’ experience in a Warehouse / Supervisory experience
- Confident people leadership skills and experience
- Sound level of IT literacy, ideally including warehouse management systems
- Experience of managing health and safety
