Supporting the Transport Manager you will…
- Assist in the organisation of the Transport team
- Provide coaching, training, and manage any performance or disciplinary matters in line with HR policies
- Assist with senior management with operational planning
- Assist in the management of all drivers, scheduling, rota planning, rest days, and daily performance
- Oversee vehicle checks of the entire fleet
- Monitor, review, and manage relationships with fleet contractors
- Other adhoc duties
About you…
- Previous experience in transport or logistics management
- Working knowledge of transport legislation and compliance
- Experience managing drivers, schedules, and training
