With over 50 years expertise in their field, I am delighted to be working with one of the largest transport companies who due to continued success are seeking for a Transport Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent full-time basis
About you…
- Experience of working within a similar role
- Hold a CPC qualification
- ISO familiarity
Duties…
- Ensure the Company always meets the requirements of the Operator License
- Deal with the day-to-day Management of all employees
- Be involved in the recruitment of HGV drivers and support personnel
- Responsible for the welfare and safety of all personnel
- Assess and review your team, highlight skills shortages and or training needs.
- Management of fines and prohibitions levied against the fleet.
- Report and document of both road traffic accidents and personal injuries.
- Conduct PPE Checks
- Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of the site is compliant
- Other adhoc duties
