Stock Controller
Salary: £30k
Monday – Friday 8am-4pm
Carrickfergus / Newtownards
We are working with a leading wholesaler who has recently expanded their business to the Carrickfergus area and are seeking a Stock Controller who can help manage inventory levels, deal with stock discrepancies and improve stock processes.
Flexibility across both sites in Newtownards and Carrickfergus will be required initially with the long-term base being Carrickfergus.
Role:
- Complete routine stock checks
- Investigate stock discrepancies.
- Support periodic stock counts and year-end processes to ensure overall stock accuracy.
- Take ownership of stock data across systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and reflected in relevant systems.
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in stock processes
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to resolve stock-related queries.
Requirements:
- 1-year previous experience in a stock control or inventory role
- Experience investigating discrepancies and working with stock or inventory systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Experience using ERP and WMS systems.
