Steel Estimator
Location: Bangor, Co. Down
Salary: £30,000–£50,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are seeking a Steel Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and quotations for structural steel projects, including steel buildings, staircases, balustrades, and railings.
Key Duties:
- Carry out steel take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
- Assist with stock purchasing and stock control
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in estimating within construction or engineering
- Good understanding of steelwork and engineering principles
- Strong numerical and organisational skills
- AutoCAD experience desirable but not essential
- Full driving licence
