Single Skilled Engineer
We’re looking for a hands-on Single Skilled Engineer to help keep our Ballymena production site running safely, efficiently and reliably.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and equipment upgrades.
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement across reliability, efficiency and productivity.
- Work across mechanical and electrical tasks as qualified and authorised.
- Use CMMS accurately and follow GMP, food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Follow Permit to Work, isolation and lock-off procedures.
About you
- Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering background.
- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable for electrical candidates.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a maintenance engineering, craftsperson or technician role.
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.

04.00 – 12.30
12.00 – 20.30
Overtime is paid at OT1.5 unless it is a Sunday and then it is OT2.
