Senior Transport Planner
Location: Ballymena

We are working with a leading transport and logistics company who are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role:
- Creating daily transport plans and collections.
- Maximising vehicle utilisation and route efficiency.
- Reacting quickly when issues arise (traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, missed collections, customer changes, etc.).
- Communicating with drivers throughout the day.
- Keeping customers informed and managing service expectations.
- Monitoring operational performance through KPIs.
- Supporting and guiding other planners within the team
Requirements:
- Pallet network experience.
- Transport planning expertise – routing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Analytical ability – tracking and reporting KPIs.
- Leadership potential – mentoring or supporting junior planners.
