Accounts Assistant – Derry/Londonderry/ £30,000 – £35,000

Blackfox Solutions are delighted to be currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team in Derry/Londonderry. Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and daily cash postings
- Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes
- Maintaining and updating financial records and ledgers
- Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
- Assisting with payroll administration
- General administrative support to the finance team
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable Criteria
- Working towards or completed an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT or equivalent)
- Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment
