CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Dungannon
Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.30-5 Friday 7.30-1.15, Overtime available
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our production team.
You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components accurately and efficiently to engineering drawings and specifications.
What you’ll be doing
- Setting, operating and carrying out basic programming of CNC Mills
- Working with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and symbols
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using gauges and measuring equipment
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety
- Monitoring tooling, materials and stock levels
- Keeping your machine and work area clean, safe and well maintained
- Operating gantry cranes as required
- Working closely with colleagues and management to meet production targets
- Recording production time accurately against the correct jobs
- Reporting machine faults, material requirements and other issues promptly
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, ideally within a machining/manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
- Experience with inspection and measuring equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude towards quality and health & safety
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook knowledge
