Duties
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Analyse drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Manage project costs and assist with commercial reporting.
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Support contract administration and valuation processes.
- Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare variations, final accounts and cost forecasts.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
Criteria
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating role.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or civil engineering projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Full driving licence desirable.
