Location: Moneymore with UK travel (London)
Salary: Competitive (DOE – flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, early finish on Fridays
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering high-quality projects across the UK. This is a key role with strong earning potential, ideal for someone with a solid mechanical background looking to take ownership of varied and interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Monitor project costs, variations, and financial performance
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure commercial efficiency
- Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting
- Negotiate contracts and variations to achieve best value
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations
