Mechanical Maintenance Fitter – Rotating Night Shift

We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a rotating night shift team in Dungannon. This is a hands-on role supporting production through tool changes, process set-up, fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out product tool changes, machine set-up and process setting.
- Optimise product quality and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Support apprentice development and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance records in line with internal systems, ISO9001, ISO14001 and BRC requirements.
- Support energy reduction plans and promote efficient working practices.
Hours and pay
- Average 42.35 hours per week, including 3 x 20-minute paid breaks per shift.
- Week 1: 36.3 hours — Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 18:54 to 07:00.
- Week 2: 48.4 hours — Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 18:54 to 07:00.
- Salary: £52,477.73 per annum, made up of £19.9783 basic pay per hour plus £3.8514 shift pay per hour.
