Junior Timber Frame Design / Estimator
We are looking for a Junior Timber Frame Estimator to join our team and develop their career within timber frame manufacturing.
The Role
Working alongside our experienced estimating and technical teams, you will assist with pricing timber frame projects from drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing architectural and structural drawings.
- Carrying out material and quantity take-offs.
- Assisting with timber frame quotations and tenders.
- Obtaining supplier prices and maintaining cost information.
- Supporting revisions and variations.
- Liaising with design, production and suppliers.
- Developing your knowledge of timber frame construction and estimating.
About You
- Some construction, timber frame, estimating or technical experience.
- Able to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good numerical and IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Accurate and organised with good attention to detail.
- Keen to learn and develop within the timber frame industry.
Previous timber frame experience is advantageous but not essential.
