We are delighted to be working with a well-established bespoke hotel based in the Walled City of Derry. The hotel is looking for an experienced front of house manager to oversee all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth daily hotel operations, to join the team.
Responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth daily hotel operations, and effective supervision of the front office team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day front desk operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest enquiries
- Lead, train, and supervise front office staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Maintain accurate guest records, billing, payments, and financial transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage payroll approvals, sales ledger, lost property, and front office supplies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in front office or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to manage financial transactions and reporting accurately
- Capable of handling emergencies and resolving issues professionally
