With over 50 years of expertise in their field I am delighted to be working with a leading Freight Forwarding Company who are seeking for a Freight Forwarder to join their successful team on a permanent basis
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will…
- Deal with any enquiries from customers and suppliers
- Dealing with customer booking requests
- Provide quotations for customers as required
- Arranging and booking shipments with shipping lines
- Managing the movement of freight in and out of the country
- Communicating with the authorities
- Negotiate rates and secure transportation services with external companies
- Arrange customs clearance with in-house customs team
- Other adhoc duties.
About you…
- Previous experience working within a similar role
- Good Knowledge of Import/Export documentation
- Proficient IT Skills
