Electrical Estimator – Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a keen eye for detail to join our team. You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed and compliant tender submissions across a range of sectors, playing a key role within the company's continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse all tender documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules etc to prepare accurate tender bids.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids within specified deadlines.
- Laise with supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations.
- Identify and cost value engineering opportunities.
- Attend mid tender and post tender review meetings as required.
- Work collaboratively with project delivery team overseeing detailed handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers.
Key Skills and Criteria
- Experience as an electrical estimator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, preferably having completed a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and preferably experienced using Trimble estimating software.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
