Electrical Design Engineer
An established and growing engineering business is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join its team. This is a great opportunity to work on a varied range of commercial, residential and industrial projects.
The Role:
Design LV electrical systems and produce drawings, schematics and specifications.
Carry out cable sizing, load assessments, fault level and lighting calculations.
Work with clients, architects and project teams.
Attend design meetings and site visits.
Provide technical support through project delivery and commissioning.
About You:
Degree/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
2+ years’ electrical design experience.
Good knowledge of current regulations and standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: Experience with Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit MEP, Trimble, BIM, renewables (Solar PV, EV & battery storage), and/or professional engineering membership.
