Working with a leader in the design and manufacturer of heavy machinery for a global market to recruit a Design Engineer to take projects from concept through design, prototype, manufacture, and commissioning. You will ensure work meets quality standards and customer specifications, while supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise equipment, including prototype R&D.

Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing work instructions.

Investigate mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.s.
Requirements

Level 5 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience (6+ years).

3D CAD experience (Creo Parametric or SolidWorks preferred); 2D AutoCAD advantageous.

Experience in hydraulic/electrical systems and mechanical fault diagnosis.
