Transport Planner

Salary up to £37,000
With over 45 years of expertise in their field, I am delighted to be working with an award- winning Logistics company who are seeking for a Transport Planner to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis
*** Hours – Monday – Friday, 1100 – 2000***
- Manage driver rotas, ensuring shifts and routes are properly covered.
- Work with drivers and Customers throughout the day and dealing with any queries or issues that arise.
- Update and maintain transport records and information
- Monitor the movement of vehicles and keeping the transport team updated.
- Liaise with drivers to ensure schedules are being followed.
- Carry out general transport administration and supporting the wider team where required.
- Other adhoc duties
About you…
- Ideally have previous experience within logistics dispatch or administration
- Confident using computers and transport/admin systems.
