Senior Cloud Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Customer facing Cloud solutions design and sales support.
• Technical support desk / Desktop / Laptop infrastructure
• Ensure that customers receive the correct product to meet their specific requirements.
• Plan and co-ordinate effective training ensuring the customer has a sound understanding of the product and the benefits it can offer.
• Identify and develop the required level of interpersonal and presentation skill sets, building trust and confidence to ensure effective site visits.
• Responsible for patching server and client side and implementation of company antivirus policy. 
• Installation, maintenance, internal training and support of deployed solutions.
• Responsibility for technical lead on cloud services product portfolio.
• Ensure personal time management reports are completed within agreed time frames.
• Responsible as required for the provision of office based technical support internally and externally.
• To be part of the 24-hour call out rota as required. Making yourself available to assist other engineers where appropriate.

What you'll need:

• Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience of internal and customer facing field service, installation and maintenance of Cloud Solutions.
• Proven ability of solution design and customer facing technical sales support and solution design.
• Ability to travel

Would be great: 

• Current Microsoft and VMware accreditations.
• Supervisory and project management experience.
