Saw Operator
£32,000–£34,500, with overtime available at time and a half
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading local business that designs and manufactures specialist machinery. They are seeking a permanent Saw Operator to join their team, offering an excellent package as well as genuine progression opportunities.
Your duties will include:
· Reading drawings and instructions to meet customer requirements
· Operating saw machinery for individual and batch cutting
· Operating equipment safely, with care for yourself and others
· Maintaining product quality throughout the cutting process
· Keeping the work area tidy and clearing any spillages promptly
What we are looking for:
· The ability to work well as part of a team
· Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with managers and colleagues
· Good organisation and the ability to plan work activities effectively
In return, you can expect a generous rate of pay, a Monday to Friday day-shift working pattern, overtime opportunities, and an early 1.15 pm finish on Fridays.
