Purchasing Assistant

Excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant based in Ballynahinch.

Our client is a market leading manufacturing company with over 60 years’ experience in their industry based in Ballynahinch who are actively seeking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their team on a maternity contract.

Day to day you will;

  • Raise purchase orders
  • Communicate effectively with all suppliers
  • Support production and purchasing teams to resolve material shortages
  • Effective use of Excel for creation of reports
  • All other duties required to fill the role

We are actively seeking applicants who possess;

  • Proven experience in an Administration role
  • At least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English all C or above
  • Experience working in a Purchasing Department (desirable)
  • Computer literate across Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of Sage (desirable but not necessary)
  • Good communication skills
