Purchasing Administrator / Buyer

We are working with a well-established manufacturer and exporter who have a global presence and an enviable order book to recruit their new Purchasing Administrator / Buyer to join them at their site in Co Tyrone.


Working within a dedicated supply chain team you will;

  • Receipt, booking in and validation of goods received against purchase orders
  • Recording goods issued and returned to stock
  • Performing weekly stock checks to maintaining stock accuracy
  • Maintenance of the stock system data
  • Issuing stock to the production area
  • Assisting production with packaging requirements
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and send to Suppliers
  • Expediting open Purchase Orders to ensure on time delivery
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Placement of Purchase Orders for non-BOM / consumables / goods and services

About you…

  • Ideally educated to 3rd level with experience within a purchasing, materials, purchase orders ideally gained within a manufacturing environment
  • Sound level of IT literacy across MS Office suite and ideally an MRP/ERP system
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good Analytical skills
