Production Manager, Lisburn, £35,000 to £45,000 plus benefits 

We are working with a successful design and manufacturer who supply their products and services across Europe to recruit for their new Production Manager.

Reporting to director level, you will assume responsibility for ensuring that customers orders are manufacturer to standard and delivered against target. This will include;

·Manage and lead the team to ensure that there is a flow of work through the workshop, utilising lean manufacturing principles

·Setting realistic, achievable schedules and deadlines against orders, and take ownership of any rescheduling or amendments to original orders

·Organisation and delegation of work to the team

·Planning and running production meetings to ensure the team are fully aware of their workload

·Lead and motivate your teams, ensuring that they are appropriately trained in their role, and that progression plans are developed to help support their professional development and aligned with overall Company growth.

·Setting KPIs for your department and your teams, utilising SMART goals and tracking progress on a regular basis.

·Identify focus areas for projects and collaborate with the wider teams to drive positive change and encourage contribution and involvement from your teams at all relevant stages

What we are looking for….

·Ideally 3 + years’ experience in a comparable role (preference to applicants with experience of metal)

·Sound knowledge of manufacturing, quality and ideally demonstrable experience in deploying lean

·Excellent people leadership and development skills

·Experience in the use of MRP/ERP software to support scheduling
