£32,500 + Van + Fuel Card (Personal use)

The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Perform routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, screens, and hydraulics etc.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Carry out basic fabrication and welding work as required.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a quarry, sand plant, heavy industry, or manufacturing environment.
