Key Account Manager



We’re delighted to be working with a leading NI company who are recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join their Antrim based team. Acting as key point of contact for clients the successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a range of high value clients, acting as point of contact for queries/ concerns and ensuring transport/ logistics requirements are met.

Your day to day:

Key Duties: –

  • Build and maintain creditable relationships with new and existing world class engineering clients by reacting quickly to customer demands in an open and honest manner
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products, deadlines, capacities and services with a focus on valued added processes and continued improvement
  • Review and process all orders/customer schedules into the capacity plan with the viewpoint to highlight, communicate and resolve problems
  • Operate with procedural rigour with the provision of regular forecast / sales reports based upon accurate internal and external customer/ logistic schedules
  • Liaise with and provide timely accurate collection/delivery/customs paperwork that complies with all standards and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities with existing customers to offer additional products or services
  • Provide quotations for new business opportunities
  • Negotiate with customers to find mutually agreeable solutions

Your background:

  • 3rd level qualification in business/ transport/ logistics or similar
  • 2 years in a similar position(Procurement/ Logistics etc), ideally gained within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literacy
