DEPUTY NURSE MANAGER

£21.24 p/h

Black Fox Solutions are excited to be recruiting for a fantastic Deputy Manager Nurse based in the Jordanstown area. This nursing position is based in a respected and well-known care facility. The Role:

  • Under the supervision of the Home Manager, your role will be to supervise and lead a team to deliver excellent standards of care to residents and their families.
  • Care will be carried out in accordance with individual care plans, whilst promoting privacy and dignity, enhancing independence, rehabilitation and personal choice. At times you will be responsible for the overall management of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, including on call.
  • Give time and attention to residents, along with engaging and supporting them.

  • Planning and implementing the kind of care that will give the residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • You will be responsible for administering prescribed medicines in accordance with company's and NMC guidelines, apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment.
  • You will assess all aspects of each Resident's care needs, deal with any medical emergencies that may arise, whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring that each Resident has an individualised Care Plan.
  • The role of Registered Nurse also includes delivering clinical excellence in a professional manner through direct Nursing care whilst effectively leading and supervising a multidisciplinary team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our residents, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
  • Participate knowledgably and professionally in all inspection visits from RQIA, Trust’s and CCG’s, ensuring your teams are ready at all times to do the same.

What we’re looking for:

  • NMC Registered.
  • Prior Experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of the Job Role and Company.
