Buyer, Derry City
£30,000 to £35,000 + benefits
We are working with an international business to recruit for their new permanent Buyer to join them in Derry city.
Office based, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 430pm and 330pm Friday finishes.
Joining the wider procurement team, supporting the procurement manager and working across;
- Working as part of the procurement team, purchasing direct and indirect materials, ensuring that production schedules and stock requirements are maintained
- Working closely with suppliers, from negotiations, chasing up overdue purchase orders to managing and developing supplier relationships and performance monitoring
- Completing daily MRP stock reviews
- Working with accounts payable & suppliers to resolve invoice issues
- Driving efficiencies across procurement processes
What we are looking for…
- Experienced in a Buyer role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Degree educated or 3 + years’ experience
- Confident IT skills across MS Office suite
- ERP experience is desirable
