This is an expanding established company who supply product across the UK and Ireland seeking to recruit a Buyer. Their products produced are sold in more than 500 stores across Northern Ireland and other products are supplied for many of the UK’s largest and most prestigious retailers.

Role:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to support their procurement operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the continuity, quality, and cost-effectiveness of their supply chain.

• Assist with the negotiation, administration, and oversight of supplier contracts
• Develop and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to suppliers.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives
• Support the identification and onboarding of new suppliers
• Ensure systems are maintained.
• Track and manage procurement expenditures
• Other adhoc duties

Criteria:

• +2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within the food or FMCG industry.
• IT Skills to include Microsoft Office
