Accounts Assistant

Warrenpoint

I am pleased to be working with a unique business that supplies safety products to the construction, engineering, and utility sectors. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your duties will include:

  • Complete customs declarations
  • Sales/Purchase Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Supplier Payments
  • Statements/Invoicing
  • Vat Returns/E Comm B to C Vat Returns
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Lodgements
  • Daily update of records onto Sage Accounts including Journals
  • Sage payroll
  • Business Analysis
  • Stock Analysis Stock auditor reports
  • Prepare yearly accounts for the Accountant

Criteria:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
